Monday Menu-Plan #8

Sorry for the delay (not that anyone really reads this), but I was distracted.

Why I bother typing this up I don't know. I don't even make anything too difficult/complex/time-consuming/interesting. Just basics. Don't misunderstand me, basics are important, but they're just that - basics.

Accountability, maybe? Weirder things have been known to happen.

I am proud to report that I have managed to stock up on enough food to last for the rest of the week, minus to cost of making my specialty for my husband. He was a doll at the stable last night, so I owe it to him.

And extra milk and orange juice. Because it's flu season and better safe than sorry.

Breakfast

whole grapefruit ^
20oz cayenne-lemon water *

My appetite is much less than I've been estimating, so I'm going to be winging it for the rest of the day.

I love how long bœuf bourguignon can be stretched out. :) 

It isn't even expensive to make - in my recipe the wine is half of the cost. 

If you haven't tried or heard of it before, check out this post. I assure you, while some restaurants may charge an arm and a leg for it, it's super simple.
