Why I bother typing this up I don't know. I don't even make anything too difficult/complex/time-consuming/interesting. Just basics. Don't misunderstand me, basics are important, but they're just that - basics.
Accountability, maybe? Weirder things have been known to happen.
I am proud to report that I have managed to stock up on enough food to last for the rest of the week, minus to cost of making my specialty for my husband. He was a doll at the stable last night, so I owe it to him.
And extra milk and orange juice. Because it's flu season and better safe than sorry.

I love how long bœuf bourguignon can be stretched out. :)
It isn't even expensive to make - in my recipe the wine is half of the cost.
